Been looking around Lifepod 17 as some post have recommended and to the best of my abilities I have tried to comb through the Grand Reef to find a useful wreck there. I personally found the drill arm at the most south-western wreck, deep in the grand reef, located in a little trench right besides the wreck. There are a lot of guides about where to find the drill arm fragments in Subnautica but of the three or so guides I've watched, all involved bringing up the console. I made a guide on where to find the drill arm fragments by just using Subnautica's landmarks. I feel it's better if you don't break the immersion.
